Today we were fortunate to host our second guest
speaker of the year, Asyia Foster-Nelson the Early Childhood advisor from JCCC.
Aysia was able to explain the Early Childhood Program offered at Johnson County Community College in greater detail and answer questions
about prerequisites for admittance to the program, college now and AP courses
and walk students through the admissions process. She advised students to
contact her directly when it is time to schedule your JCCC
college visit because she can give you greater insight into the college and
program. She will help you find a course to sit in on, give you a tour of the
Child Development Lab, take you through the education classroom and help you
meet education students.
Don’t forget to schedule a college visit and pick
up a College Visit Verification form from the office 48 hours before your
visit!
