I’m Sorry
Miss Jordan choose a book from the
Little Critter Series, I’m Sorry
which talked about when any individual should say they are sorry and how saying
sorry is a part of having good manners. She choose to have everyone go outside
of the classroom to read her book and the change of environment was great. She
then asked students to write a letter apologizing for something they have done
in the paste they was a mistake.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Miss Juliet choose Eric Carl and read The Very Hungry Caterpillar to
our class which follows the eating habits and transformation of an itty bitty
caterpillar into a beautiful butterfly. She then had each student complete one
link of a chain with their favorite food by drawing and coloring a dish (or two).
She then linked everyone’s chain together to make our very own class caterpillar
who had a very full stomach.

The Ear Book
Miss Lindsay share The Ear Book to our class which is a story exploring what
you can hear in your ear. The book features all types of ears and what each ear
hears. She then lead a lesson where students all created their very own ear,
then wrote and spoke about what that ear could hear.
